The studio has 3 designated off-street parking spots. Free street parking is also available on Union St., Main St. and Mystic Ave.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. You will be charged the full amount for an appointment if you fail to cancel in time. Payments are non-refundable. Any package expires after 12 months unless otherwise agreed in writing. You are responsible for all return check fees.

Mind In Motion, LLC was founded in 2006. Our mission is to educate people to condition their body with Joseph H. Pilates' original method, thus to move their body in the most efficient way and to enhance their performance of all other activities.

Mind In Motion is dedicated to preserving the authentic teaching of Joseph H. Pilates. Our instructors are classically trained. Private and semi-private sessions are tailored to your individual needs.

As Joseph said: "In ten sessions, you will feel the difference; in twenty sessions, you will see the difference; in thirty sessions, you will have a whole new body!" Pilates body conditioning is a proven method, and our instructors will assist you to achieve your well-being goals.

About the principal instructor at Mind in Motion Pilates

Principal instructor

Li Ma-Scholz, principal instructor and founder, was certified in Authentic Pilates (aka, Romana's Pilates) in 2002. She studied under Pilates teacher trainers Ton Voogt and Michael Fritzke and was certified by Master teacher Romana Kryzanowska. She attended workshops held by Sari Meija Santo, Anthony Rabara, Roxanne Richards Huang, Cynthia Shipley, Bob Liekens, Peter Fiasca and other well-established Pilates teacher trainers.

Li has a long history of body movement. She started to dance at the age of five. In 1986, she won the college rhythmic gymnastic all-round championship in Beijing while she studied and earned a law degree from Peking University.

About the instructor at Mind in Motion Pilates

Instructor

Driven by creative vision and dedication, Lily Chang earned degrees in Interior and Information Design, building a successful career in interior design and construction management.

Her discovery of Classical Pilates transformed her approach to fitness. Training with mentor Li Ma-Scholz for two years, she experienced its profound benefits, including improved posture, strength, body awareness, and movement control. Certified in 2024 through Real Pilates Teacher Training in NYC, she has shared these transformative practices with her clients during the training in New York City. Now she is eager to carry the excellent teaching experiences on to her future clients.
